Parrita Chanting (compiled by Ven. K. Rathansara)

Just like a bird needs 2 wings to fly properly;
we need to cultivate a life of both Material and Spiritual;
so as to become a successful human being.

Is chanting a form of Meditation?
Yes, it is.
If you chant mindfully, it becomes a form of Meditation.

Can we generate Positive Energy through chanting?
Yes, we can.
Pronounce the chanting words accurately, and you will produce Sound Energy.
Be virtuous yourself and when chanting; you can generate Virtuous Energy.
Knowing the meaning and chant mindfully, it will energize your Mental Energy.

Once the three types of Energies are united, it becomes a Powerful Positive Energy which can be used for the well-being and happiness of yourself and others.
